TÜV SÜD Product Service is part of the world’s largest and most widely recognised certification and testing organisation. Testing is performed to meet the requirements of the EU R&TTE Directive (99/5/EC), the North American regulatory requirements of the FCC and Industry Canada, together with the requirements of various other countries, including Australia and Japan.
Our compliance experts manage the complete compliance process, as necessary to get radio and telecommunications equipment to market. Regulatory testing services cover a wide range of products such as Short Range Devices (SRD), Bluetooth, WLAN (802.11a/b/g/n), Base Stations, Repeaters, 2G, 3G and LTE Mobile Phones, PMR radio, Marine radio (DSC / ATIS / AIS), Search and Rescue beacons including EPIRBs, ELTs and PLBs.

Radio Frequency (RF) Testing
We can perform pre-compliance investigation and conformance testing of almost any intentional radiating device up to 40 GHz. In addition to RF testing, we can demonstrate products comply with relevant EMC, LVD and RF exposure standards. To complement these services, TÜV SÜD BABT, which is also part of the TÜV SÜD Group, is able to certify products for the global market. This means, for example, that TÜV SÜD Product Service can offer a combined test and certification service in association with TÜV SÜD BABT for the North American market.
