TÜV SÜD Product Service Ltd – Change of Company name.

CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME

I would like to advise you of a change in our company's name from TÜV Product Service Ltd to TÜV SÜD Product Service Ltd with immediate effect.

We are making the change as a way to reinforce that our organization is part of the TÜV SÜD  group, as we know that there has sometimes been confusion, even among our longstanding customers, about the use of the TÜV name, which is also used by a small number of our competitors in the UK and internationally. 

The TÜV name dates back almost 150 years to the age of steam when steam boilers embraced a new technology whose safety needed to be maintained.  Through the name change, we want to emphasize the identity of the modern day TÜV SÜD, which is now a group composed of 15000 employees with a vast international reach and experience in a very broad range of technologies.  In the UK, TÜV SÜD Product Service has 5 sites covering the whole country and is by far the largest of the TÜV organisations operating nationally, with a mission of providing peace of mind that products are safe, reliable and compliant.  We look forward to continuing to serve you in this way under our new name.

Please make a note of the name change.  However, you do not need to change any other information relating to our company e.g. address, bank details, as these remain unchanged.
