TÜV SÜD group REACH Obligations Seminar.
TÜV SÜD Group is hosting a Complimentary REACH Seminar at the Hilton London Metropole on Thursday 22nd July 2010 on REACh Obligations for retailers covering due diligence and child appealing products.
REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals. The EU regulation came into force on 1st June 2007 with the sole aim of placing greater responsibility on industry to protect human health and the environment. Under REACH these chemicals are required to be registered in a central database administered by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). REACH identifies risk management measures for companies which use chemicals and advises best practice to ensure their safe use.
The day is due to start at 9.00am and runs till 12.30. The seminars will be by TÜV SÜD experts Alastair McLaughlin, Richard Poate and Markus Jahns. Book early as spaces are limited.
