TÜV Product Service complimentary REACH obligations seminar.

  

TÜV Product Service is hosting a Complimentary REACH Seminar at the Macdonald Manchester Hotel on Wednesday 8th December 2010, on REACH Obligations for retailers covering due diligence and child appealing products.

REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals. The EU regulation came into force on 1st June 2007 with the sole aim of placing greater responsibility on industry to protect human health and the environment. Under REACH these chemicals are required to be registered in a central database administered by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). REACH identifies risk management measures for companies which use chemicals and advises best practice to ensure their safe use.

The day is due to start at 9.00am and runs till 12.30. The seminars will be by TÜV Product Service's experts Alastair McLaughlin, Richard Poate and Phil Dolling. Book early as spaces are limited.
