RF & Microwave Radiation Safety Course
TÜV Product Service will be holding a training course on RF & Microwave Radiation Safety, which will take place at Octagon House, Fareham on the 7th-8th September 2009.
Our Senior Consultant, Peter Dorey, will be presenting a range of information to clarify the current guidance and regulations on safe levels of electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure, the use of medical equipment to verify exposure levels and the general approach to risk assessment and safety management.
The course has been designed to give delegates an opportunity to update their knowledge of the latest developments in the use of sources of radio-frequency radiation in communications, radar, industrial processing and other fields. In addition, the course will provide a set of comprehensive notes as well as handouts for class exercises and practical management to incorporate an interactive element to the training.
Having presented RF and Microwave Radiation Safety courses since the 1990s to MOD, Armed Services and Industry, we have both the experience and expertise to provide practical advice and support in the management of projects involving topics such as EMF exposure, Electro Explosive Devices (EEDs) and EMC of medical implants.
