NEW Training course: ‘Introduction to Microbiology for the Manufacture of Sterile Medical Devices’

TÜV Product Service Ltd will be hosting a new training course on the manufacture of sterile medical devices on the 20th April 2010, at Octagon House, Fareham.

The course is intended to cover the fundamental aspects surrounding the process of sterilisation including an introduction to Microbiology, information on Bioburden, Contamination control, Sterilization Method Overview, Packaging, Workshop and Exmination.

Sterilization is a complicated “special” process which requires validation and its effectiveness is very dependent on many of the activities that take place before sterilization itself. It is essential to control the handling, storage and production of raw materials and finished products as well as the production environment and the personnel involved. Without these, sterility cannot be guaranteed.

Benefits of attending:
  1. Gain a good understanding of the important factors that go into producing sterile medical products, including practical skills to enable them to implement and manage these activities within your own company.
  2. Gain awareness of the potential pitfalls when being audited by regulatory bodies.
  3. Benefit from the knowledge of the presenters with 36 years’ experience between them of working in these fields.
