TÜV SÜD tests amusement parks for child-friendliness and safety

TÜV SÜD now awards the "Fit for Kids" certificate to child-friendly and safe leisure facilities, highlighting amusement parks that are particularly suitable for a family fun day out.

Some of the main criteria of the “Fit for Kids” certification include the safety of the amusement rides operated in an amusement park, their regular inspection, maintenance and repair, as well as staff qualifications and child-friendly restaurants.

Certification as a child-friendly amusement park is not only designed to encourage self-regulation by park operators/owners. It is a quality label which certified amusement parks can use to stand out from their competitors and document this fact effectively to the public.
