Munich. BMW, Mercedes, Audi and the rest – Germany's car manufacturers are once again notching up profits. However, most of those profits are generated abroad while domestic sales continue to languish – a situation in which purchases of used cars, factory vehicles and pre-registered cars become an extremely attractive proposition. Price reductions of up to 20 per cent are possible on list prices for used cars. The experts at TÜV SÜD have assembled the ten main tips that purchasers should consider when deciding to buy.
