TÜV SÜD takes over the Technical Inspection unit of Dow Olefinverbund GmbH
With effect from 1 July 2009, TÜV SÜD will take over the Technical Inspection unit of Dow Olefinverbund GmbH, Schkopau. The takeover will strengthen the position of TÜV SÜD Chemie Service GmbH in central Germany, and the expansion of services offered by the chemical and petrochemical industries will open new perspectives for driving internationalization.
As well as handing over the Technical Inspection unit, Dow Olefinverbund GmbH will also sign a contract commissioning TÜV SÜD Chemie Service to provide the relevant inspection and test services. Significant points in favour of the inspection organization included its pronounced industry focus and proven ability to integrate former in-company testing and inspection units.
