TÜV SÜD opens e-vehicle charging station in Hamburg
Germany in need of intelligent overall concept for e-mobility
On Wednesday 24th February 2010 TÜV Hanse opened its first charging station for electronic cars in Hamburg. TÜV Hanse is working alongside its parent company TÜV SUD, energy supplier RWE and entrepreneur Sirri Karabag (who is currently engaged in one of Germany’s largest e-fleet projects) as partners in this electromobility pilot project.
At the ceremony Dr Axel Stepken, CEO and president of TÜV SUD gave a speech in which he stressed the urgent need for government subsidies to promote the rapid success of e-mobility.
