TÜV SÜD becomes accredited certification body for leak detectors.

Munich. Chemical plants, refineries and tank farms increasingly store or transport chemicals, mineral oils and fuels in double-walled tanks or pipelines. Reliable and certified leak detection systems are indispensable in these situations. TÜV SÜD Industrie Service has now gained accreditation from the German Institute responsible for granting European and technical approvals, the Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt), as a certification body for safety systems with leak control. Their ultra-modern pressure testing facility also enables the TÜV SÜD experts to assess the function of leak detection systems with a particularly high level of precision.
