TÜV Hanse approves electric fleet for road traffic

  

Today, TÜV Hanse inspected the first of a total of 700 electric cars and thus launched one of the biggest electric fleet projects in Germany ever!

After final approval testing in the Service Centre at Ausschläger Weg 100, the Karabag 500 Elektrik (based on the Fiat 500 model) was approved for road traffic by the city of Hamburg. The project initiator was Sirri Karabag, a Fiat commercial vehicle dealer. He has the vehicles converted in Italy and then imports them onto the German market. TÜV Hanse, a TÜV SÜD subsidiary, is responsible for the technical approval of the vehicles.
