GreenFleet® Award presented for the second time
TÜV SÜD subsidiary, FleetCompany GmbH, presented this year's GreenFleet® Award to RWE AG, Sony Deutschland GmbH and BTI Befestigungstechnik GmbH, for their efforts in the movement towards smaller and more economical vehicles for fleet operators.
For the first time a jury of impartial experts decided the winner of the GreenFleet® Award, basing their decision on criteria such as the amount of carbon savings that can be made during the course of a year, the kind of potential the project shows, and how innovative the submitted proposal is.
GreenFleet® is a targeted savings programme for vehicle fleet operators, designed both to save fuel costs and reduce carbon and other emissions. FleetCompany GmbH is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year in Munich. Only a few weeks ago, TÜV SÜD increased its holdings in FleetCompany from 40 per cent to 100 per cent, further enforcing their already established reputation for bringing nature and technology into harmony.
