DSV aktiv, SIS and TÜV SÜD test "back armour"

Munich. Before the upcoming winter season TÜV SÜD and its partners, DSV aktiv Ski & Sportmagazin and the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) tested 11 back protectors. Overall results were positive: all models that were put through their paces are able to protect skiers from serious injuries in the case of an accident. However, as far as their marking/labelling and user instructions are concerned, they still offer potential for improvement.
