Car trade anticipates increased sales and higher prices for used cars

  

Munich / Leipzig. Germany's car trade is looking forward to rising sales and higher prices for used cars in 2011, in addition to growing importance of the used-car business compared to new-car sales. A key driver for sales of used cars is the use of the Internet as a sales channel. These results were revealed by a representative survey of 406 car dealerships and garages throughout Germany, conducted in March by market research institute Technomar on behalf of TÜV SÜD. The results of the survey were presented at AMITEC in Leipzig.
