Manufacturer’s are increasingly looking for alternate testing options which allow for maximum flexibility and the fastest time to market.
One such solution is “Supervised Manufacturer’s Testing” or SMT as it is known. This scheme allows manufacturer’s to carry out their own product testing in their own test facilities using their own test equipment.
TÜV Product Service monitors and controls this activity very closely and provides all necessary support to the manufacturer as and when required. Capability and competence of the test laboratory is verified by regular audits in accordance with ISO 17025 (requirements for testing and calibration laboratories) combined with supervision and spot checking of laboratory testing.
SMT means that you are able to issue TÜV Product Service endorsed test reports with immediate access to our range of certificates and certification marks including CB Certification and the TÜV Mark.
