TÜV Product Service has been providing state-of-the-art environmental testing services such to the defence industry since 1953.

Our purpose built UKAS-accredited environmental test laboratory (No. 0141) covers an area of 1200m²  and has a unique combination of test facilities. We are industry affiliates of the Society of Environmental Engineers; have List X security clearance and a licence to test items containing explosives, demonstrating our competence. We can offer true one stop capability including; technical consulting;  preparation of test plans; environmental and EMC testing, approvals management and certification in one location.

Under the manufacture and storage of explosives licence TÜV Product Service can carry out environmental and EMC testing on items containing explosives with a NEQ of 20kg for a hazard classification of 1.4 and 10kg of 1.3. Products with higher NEQ and hazard classification will be reviewed on an individual basis.
