TÜV Product Service is one of the world’s largest independent providers of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing and qualification services, up to platform level for the defence industry.

We are authorised to undertake electromagnetic compatibility testing services to all major military EMC specifications such as DEF STAN 59-411, Mil Std series and SPE J 1000 series covering aerospace, land and ship requirements.

We can carry out EMC testing of products ranging from small electronic sub assemblies to large, heavy and complex defence products, either at our UKAS accredited laboratory or in-situ, covering compliance testing, ship trials, RADHAZ trials, site surveys and interference investigation.  

Some of our more specialised services include Lightning, High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) Testing and TEMPEST. We can offer most of these services at your site giving global access to the defence industry.

As part of our services, we assist clients with the generation of support documentation covering control plans, test plans and procurement specifications. We also advise on rationalisation of test programs and pre-compliance testing.
