TÜV Product Service maximises mobile WiMax™ capabilities
As one of the leading test and certification bodies under the EU’s R&TTE directive, TÜV Product Service is very pleased to announce the introduction of its test and certification service for Wimax™ terminals and infrastructure.
We are able to offer a full one-stop service which includes EMC, RF, Safety and Certification for Wimax™ devices such as PCMCIA cards, Base Stations, Mobile devices, USB devices and Access points. To offer the maximum flexibility to our customers we offer an “on-site” service to manufacturers who have their own test equipment. We can also test at our modern new facility at Octagon House in Fareham.
This has been possible through extensive technical development and our commitment to continuous improvement. In addition, we have invested in the latest leading edge test equipment to enable us to measure and analyse today’s digital communications technologies.
Our offering is fully UKAS accredited against the latest applicable test standards. As a company with over 20 years’ experience in testing and certification, we are fully aware of our customers’ needs for a fast time to market. So we provide you with a 10 day report pledge, which means that if the report is not issued within 10 days of the completion of testing, the report is delivered free of charge.
As well as meeting the requirements of the R&TTE directive, we can also offer a full test and certification programme for access to the USA and Canadian markets by testing to FCC and Industry Canada standards. Certification for all of these markets can be obtained through our own in-house certification body; BABT. So that approval can be gained for your Wimax™ product in Europe, America and Canada, through one test programme, and one certification body, all under one roof.
