Trading Standards: Screening Report Service
This service has been developed specifically to assist Trading Standards authorities across the country to review product safety and marketability of products being imported and retailed in the UK.
Whether the product is already on sale or stopped during entry to the UK, we offer a fast, reactive service in a jargon free, non technical, easy to read format. Using our colour coded format with lots of images, you can see at a glance if there are any issues or failures.
The screening process covers the key areas of Electrical & Physical safety as well as build quality. There is also an option to assess items for chemical safety.
The aim of the assessment is to ensure that products placed on the market are safe, reliable and compliant.
