World Accreditation Day 2011

World Accreditation Day is a global initiative jointly established by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation-related activities.

TÜV SÜD Product Service has always been a strong supporter of accreditation, indeed our first such approval was received over 50 years ago, and nowadays the vast majority of our testing (EMC, Environmental, Safety, and Telecom) and certification activities (BABT) in the UK are supported by UKAS accreditation.  Many of our laboratory and certification activities in the rest of the TÜV SÜD Group are supported by accreditation through their local national accreditation bodies, such as DAkkS in Germany and A2LA and ANAB in USA, who are all signatories to the various International Multilateral Recognitions Agreements .
