TÜV SÜD BABT extends certification services by gaining Notified Status under the Construction Products Directive
TÜV SÜD BABT has been accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as a Notified Body under the EU Construction Products Directive, effective from 6th December 2011. The scope of the accreditation is EN 12966-1:2005 + A1:2009 which covers permanently installed road traffic signs and traffic control devices.
This accreditation extends the certification services offered by TÜV SÜD BABT and complements the testing capabilities of TÜV SÜD Product Service. The combination of testing and certification enables manufacturers of variable message signs to take advantage of the option of a seamless testing and certification service in the UK.
