TÜV SÜD Product Service offers DFS Testing

We now offer testing of 5GHz devices which includes Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) testing.  DFS capability is required by devices operating in the 5GHz bands to ensure that they do not interfere with radar systems.  Most commonly used standards are EN 301 893 (Europe), CFR47 Pt15E (USA) and RSS-210 (Canada).  These regulatory requirements are also in effect in other regions of the world.

Note that the latest published version of EN 301 893 is version 1.6.1 which contains new radar pulses for DFS. Our test equipment allows us to test these new pulses.
