GreenFleet® Award presented at the IAA for the first time

Munich. Climate protection is one of the key themes at this year's IAA, the international automobile exhibition. For years, fleet operators have been trailblazers when it comes to CO2 savings, supporting less powerful engines and lower fuel consumption in company cars. The most recent figures from FleetCompany confirm this trend: CO2 emissions of the top ten car models among first-time registrations of company cars have dropped by a total of 22 grams/kilometre since 2007. Every year, the TÜV SÜD subsidiary presents the GreenFleet® Award to reward the most innovative efforts in mitigating climate change. This year the award, which is highly acclaimed and established in the industry, will be presented at the IAA in Frankfurt for the first time.
